UKCC Coaching Courses
Linden are champions of the Challenge Cup after an exciting tournament held on Sunday 28th June at Walsall Sports Centre.
A convincing performance saw them win 46 - 28 against a talented squad from Blades. Linden came into the match hot favourites having been beaten to the Premier League 1 title by just one point.
Collette Thompson said “We’re delighted to win… and it’s a great way to end the season after missing out by one point on the Premier League 1 title. It was a great performance and we have some great young players coming through.”
Level One UKCC Coaching Courses are being held within the Region on the following dates:

8th November, 15th November, & 6th December - Wellington Road Campus, Wolverhampton College

Sheila Perks awarded MBE
League Results
England Netball Honorary Life Member Sheila Perks has been awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
Sheila has made a huge contribution to Netball both at Regional Level within the West Midlands, and also at National Level. Sheila is a very worthy recipient of the honour, and deserves all of our congratulations.
Congratulations to Parkside Netball Club who won both the U14s & U16s Youth League 2008/09
The U14 Nationals are being held on 16th May at Walsall & 30th May at Loughborough with the U16s played 9th May & 30th May at Loughborough - GOOD LUCK to all those involved!!!
Congratulations also to Evesham Reds for finishing top of Senior Division One and to Parkside leading Senior Division Two. The Senior League was closely fought again this season, creating an exciting tounrament for all involved.
Finally a thank you to all of the players, coaches, volunteers, officials and supporters for making the season such a great success in both Senior and Junior Leagues!!
