CAPS
CLUBS ACTION PLANNING SCHEME
CAPS helps netball clubs function in the most efficient way and once completed, provides proof that the club offers a high quality environment for all members.
It is directly linked to Sport England's Clubmark scheme, which provides a national standard for good practise in the development of players, coaches and umpires at all levels. Your club will need to put paperwork together as evidence that you are meeting the set criteria. Some of your members will need to attend courses, such as: Duty of Care, Level 1 & 2 Coaching, Beginner and C Award Umpire, A Club for All and Equity in Your Coaching. CAPS offers Bronze, Silver and Gold levels of achievement, highlighting further development work whilst ensuring that all clubs have a chance to shine.
In line with the Clubmark award, CAPS focuses on four key areas that impact Netball clubs:
*Duty of Care and Child Protection,
*Coaching and Competition,
*Club Management/ Administration,
*Sports Equity and Ethics.
*CAPS offers Bronze, Silver and Gold levels of achievement, highlighting further development work whilst ensuring that all clubs have the chance to shine
